The embedded technology ECF24 event is approaching and the program is getting ready. It´ll be again another packed day with several interesting presentations. As before, participation in the ECF event is free, but you have to register asap!

The day starts with congatec's presentation, where the topic is the aReady concept announced in the spring. With aReady the customer is offered the building blocks for an embedded application, from the COM card all the way to the cloud service. The idea is to make integration as easy as possible.

Testhouse Nordic presents Keysight's new product. Not much can be said at the moment, but "something big" is to be announced. CVG Convergens' presentation will consider the differences between customized embedded hardware and ready-made commercial solutions. What should the designer pay attention to right now?

After lunch, it's Adlink Technology's turn to present the role of OSM modules in the selection of different COM standards. What are the advantages of a small solderable module and how does it differ from for example Q7 and SMARC boards?

At the end of the day, two more very interesting performances will be heard. CSC, i.e. Science Information Technology Center, will tell us about LUMI, Europe's most powerful supercomputer. We will hear how the system was used to train the open GenAI models Poro and Viking produced by the University of Turku and Silo AI.

At the end of the day, Etteplan provides an up-to-date overview of the EU legislative projects concerning every designer. The NIS2 cyber security regulation will soon be mandatory, but other regulations are also in the works.
